A time before genre tribalism, when everything sounded fresh and DJs played music that spanned genres. Where UK Bleep, New York House and Electro, Detroit Techno, Belgian New Beat, Italo Disco, Chicago Acid and anything in between would all be in the mix. A time before hardcore would become the dominant sound, but when all its influences could be heard bubbling up through the eclectic sounds of raves and clubs across the country.
