A  live band set by Rachel Love, once of all-female ’80s post-punk pop trio Dolly Mixture, will be precded by a showing of Paul Kelly & Fred Burns’ documentary film ‘Take Three Girls’ about Dolly Mixture.
Later on a C81-style disco rounds out the night.
Rachel Love was singer and guitarist with post-punk/indie but mostly pop ’70/’80s girl group Dolly Mixture who counted John Peel, Paul Weller and the Undertones among their champions. Expect delicious dreamy pop tunes as well as choice covers and selections from the Dolly Mixture songbook . Plus – a rare chance to see ‘Take Three Girls’, the Dolly Mixture documentary directed by Paul Kelly (‘Lawrence of Belgravia’). Pogo a Gogo DJ’s till close. Only £7.50 in advance.
